MY STORY
Studio Charles is run by me, Charlotte. A Belgian artist splitting her time between Europe & New Zealand. I created Studio Charles out of my passion for creating & finding a medium that allows me to work remotely.
My work is full of life and color, cause that’s what uplifts me and creates happy feelings. I get inspired by everyday life, nature & travel… I know rather broad but honestly it’s true.
Fun facts about me:
I’m a mum of a 3 year old with another one on the way.
My life takes place between Europe (where I’m from) and New Zealand where my husband is from.
I met my husband in China where we lived for 10 years and loved every single moment of it.
I love being creative in many ways: painting, designing, furniture restorations, upholstery, photography etc.
Sometimes I’d like to believe minimalism will create calmness in my mind but I love life in colours & slightly chaotic.
My pet peeves are wriggling toes and hear people chewing.
My bucket list countries are India & Oman.
